The Client
YES Theatre, established in 2010 and headquartered in Northern Ontario, is a non-profit amateur theatre company focused on developing and showcasing emerging artists. What truly distinguishes them is their dedication to theatre in their home town of Sudbury with over 70,000 patrons in the last decade coming from all over the province to watch beloved plays and musicals done by artists they’ve never seen before.
The Project
Having a decade worth of production history and a new company direction with the Sudbury Theatre Centre collaboration, YES Theatre needed a website that could keep up with the changes during their ‘pilot’ season. The theatre company needed their website to showcase both on stage and off stage productions.
The main goal was to create a modern, simple and user-friendly and fully adaptive website that would immerse patrons into the theatres atmosphere.
The Relaunch
The website redesign relaunched in the spring of 2021 in tandem with the Summer Festival and launch of the ‘pilot’ season. Over the next six months, during the Summer Festival, the website received over 20,000+ visitors and drove traffic to the ticket and donation portals ranking their 'pilot' season as a success.
